Welcome to the myCMU support site for students!  This site contains information related to services available on myCMU. 
PLEASE NOTE: Some links on the left-hand side and other content on this site are only viewable if you are logged in with your myCMU account.
 
The most frequent problems reported to the helpdesk are fixed by changing your web browser settings to those recommended in the section USING MYCMU. The Google Chrome browser is particularly problematic and not recommended. We highly recommend using Firefox when using myCMU.

Students login and use their student ID number for their username.  You may obtain your login information by contacting the CMU Technology Helpdesk

    Clear Cache-Temp-History-Cookies in Any Browser

    If your browser is not loading page content, "timing out", kicking you off, disconnecting, giving errors on page changes or submissions etc. there are probably old or corrupted cookie settings or cache files in your browser. Use these steps to clear old temp files and optimize settings.

    While focused on a reorder icon, press the Enter key or spacebar to "select" the icon. While a reorder icon is selected, pressing the up and down arrows will change the order of the selected item within the list. Pressing Enter key or spacebar again will drop the selected item at that location in the list.
