Course Description

In this course, we will study the Gospels of Mark and Matthew using the tools of critical scholarship in order to understand Jesus and his teachings and the faith of the early Christian community that produced these writings. The class will be conducted in an environment of open enquiry befitting the CMU mission and creed.
