About the Professor
- Graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Social Work
- Graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004 with a Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Mental Health
- Graduated from Capella University in 2017 with a Master of Science Psychology specialization in Educational Psychology.
- Worked as a College Counselor for seven years.
- Worked as mental health counselor in the Sedalia community before opening up my own private practice.
- Owner of a clinical mental health practice in Cole Camp, Missouri for 4.5 years. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, their families, couples and individual adults. My areas of focus include; physical disabilities, psychotherapy, ADD/ADHD, anger management, crisis counseling, academic counseling, relationship issues, self-defeating patterns, life transitions, plus life enhancement and balancing strategies. I have experience with varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
- Began teaching for State Fair Community College in 2004, on-line courses for Central Methodist in the summer of 2011, and Graduate Adjunct Professor in 2013.
- Behavioral Health Coordinator at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in 2016 to current.
