Course Description

An examination of various aspects of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development from conception through late adulthood. Emphasis is placed on child and adolescent development. Prerequisite: PY101 or PY210

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant should be able to:

  • Discuss the numerous factors that shape development throughout the life span.
  • Gain an understanding of the changes and challenges that occur during each stage of the life span.
