There are no required textbooks for this course. All readings will be provided by the instructor.

• Student must find a setting, approved by the instructor, to conduct practicum hours. This course requires a minimum of 10 hours of on-site work per week but no more than 30 hours, a minimum of 1 hour of group and a minimum of 1 hour of individual supervision per week. By the end of the course, you will need 240 hours = 12 hours of individual meetings + 12 hours of group supervision + 216 of on-site work hours (average of 18-19 for 12 weeks).
• Attendance at group meetings is mandatory.

6 hours.  While in an applied setting, students will take principles learned in the BCaBA course sequence and apply them. Student will be supervised on site as well as remotely by the course BCBA. Students will be expected to record themselves working directly with clients, as well as attend weekly group meetings and individual meetings when necessary. An intensive practicum is meant to provide fluency of the task list. Students are expected to demonstrate skill and knowledge in behavior analytic, ethical and professional domains. The objectives for this course were taken from the Behavior Analysts Certification Board (BACB) Fourth Edition Task List and the BACB Experience Standards. 

The specific objectives, related to the Experience Standards include:

1. Engage in activities that are consistent with the dimensions of Applied Behavior Analysis (Baer, Wolf, & Risley, 1968) and approved by your BCBA Supervisor
2. Select clients that are appropriate according to the BACB Experience Standards and approved by your BCBA Supervisor
3. Attend and present case information in a weekly group supervision meetings, as set by your BCBA supervisor
4. Arrange and attend weekly individual supervision meetings with your BCBA supervisor
5. Arrange weekly real-time, direct observations of your work with clients/students with your BCBA supervisor
6. Maintain an organized record of documentation of ongoing supervision

Complete a BACB Experience Verification form at the end of the practicum, retain a copy for your records, and provide a copy for your BCBA supervisor
