LITERATURE: Students will work on flute literature.  This repertoire will be in the form of solos, ensembles and/or etudes.

THURSDAY MORNING RECITAL HOUR: Every CMU student enrolled in Applied Studies is required to perform on one Thursday Morning Recital Hour each semester.  The performance could be a flute solo (with or without piano) or an ensemble (duet, trio, quartet for flutes or mixed instrumentation.)

JURY:  The final exam for Applied Studies is called a Jury.  Flute students will play scales (or technical studies) and literature (solo or etude) for this exam.
