WebAssign is a publisher created online courseware. Students will submit homework, take quizzes and tests in the online WebAssign webspace. Therefore, it is required for this course. WebAssign access includes an ebook version of this textbook. That is all you will need. If you prefer a paper copy, you can purchase that inexpensively from the publisher or from another source.

WebAssign has a free 2 week trial version that you can use first day of the course. After the 2 weeks, you must purchase continued access to the course.

When the course opens, the instructor will give you a course key to register for the specific course.

 

Course Description

This course covers the general topics of Euclidean geometry.  Students will become familiar with geometric terminology, principles and proofs.  Emphasis is on deductive reasoning and problem solving, particularly in geometric based applications.  This course is recommended for all students majoring in BSE, Middle School Certification with Concentration in Mathematics.  This class does not meet the geometry requirement for mathematics majors.  Prerequisite:  Meet or exceed University policy for College Algebra (3 hour course); or MA103 with a grade of C or better; or by permission of the Chair. 3 hours.
