Welcome to Math 112: Selected Topics in Calculus. This is a class in how to harness the 3,000 horsepower engine that is calculus to do real work for those of us more interested in results than in mathematical proofs. In this class we will review the types of functions we've encountered in College Algebra and then use the tools of calculus to extract information about what they're telling us. Welcome aboard - it's going to be a heck of a ride!!!
