Course Description

An examination of major traditions; physical geography, historical-cultural geography, and location geography.  3 hours.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant should be able to:

  1. Articulate basic geofacts that explain how the earth changes. 
  2. Understand map development and exhibit a working knowledge of map reading. 
  3. Apply the concept of realms and understand the development of resources within each realm.
  4. Engage, interpret, and analyze contemporary social, political, and environmental issues confronting the world.
