Exploring Geology Lab    

Objectives: To explore the principles, organization and evolution of natural systems through the study of Geology.

Outcomes: As a student in this lab, you will learn to:

• Explain the formation of a variety of crystals, minerals and types of rock.
• Identify key examples of common minerals and rocks using scientific tools.
• Discover fossils and explore the evolutionary relationships among groups of organisms
• Communicate the scientific interpretation of the fossil record and the evolution of life on Earth.

NOTE:  There are two sections of this lab.  If you are registered in this section B, your name should also be added to the list for section A.  See the course link to GL105L (CM17) A - Explor Geology Lab in MyCMU as all course materials and your grade will appear there.  If, you do not see section A listed in your courses, please let me know and I will fix it.
