Stephanie Gillespie is an adjunct instructor for Central Methodist University at the Park Hills Campus house at Mineral Area College.

Gillespie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education-English, a Master of Arts in English with an emphasis on teaching writing, a Specialist in Educational Leadership, and Master of Arts in Administration.

She has been a high school English teacher for 25 years and regularly an adjunct instructor for Jefferson College and CMU during the last 15 years.

Description

EN410 Senior Thesis. 1 hour. (Capstone) Students will write an exit paper concerning their close reading of a short text (poem, short story, one-act play) that they have not studied in a class. At least one week before the end of the semester, students will present their papers to the English faculty at an oral defense. Enrollment is restricted to Seniors earning a BA in English or a BS in Middle School Language Arts.
