Good to see everyone in class. This should be a fun and valuable class for all of us. 

To see the syllabus look under Resources and Materials. The readings for class will be linked there, and you will not need any additional text. The first readings (or videos) are on the purpose of research and a plagiarism quiz, and both of those have corresponding discussion posts due by Thursday. Week 1 will also have an introduction discussion post that is due on Thursday.  After that is done go on to application 1 and 2 that are due by Saturday. All of week 1 assignments are on the discussion board. 

This class will be in the classroom. Masks are required, as is a seating chart to help with contact tracing if that becomes necessary. On Wednesday we can go over policy, rubrics, etc., so reading over the syllabus is best. 

Don't hesitate to contact me if you find an assignment confusing or have other questions. For a quick answer email works, but for a complex question Zoom or phone is much better. My contacts are in the syllabus.
