Course Description and Objectives:

EN 224 is literature course in which students will read American authors of color from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. We will look at the importance of race in American culture and how these authors discuss these and other issues in their texts. Students will complete forum posts, in-class writing assignments, writing projects, reflections, and a presentation in the course.
