Course Description and Objectives:

EN 224 is literature course in which students will read American authors of color from the 19^th, 20^th and 21^st centuries. We will look at the importance of race in American culture and how these authors discuss these and other issues in their texts. Students will complete forum posts, in-class writing assignments, writing projects, reflections, and a presentation in the course.
