Description

Students study the elements and process of forming arguments and debates. Topics include the types of debates; use of evidence and reasoning; and researching, organizing, writing, presenting, and evaluating debates. Students improve their critical thinking, speaking, and advocacy skills by researching important issues of the day and transforming that information into a persuasive, logical argument. Offered even year, spring.
