CMU 102 is the second part of the university orientation class, designed to prepare students for success by focusing on more discipline-specific issues.

Course Outcomes

• further develop the study skills necessary to be successful at Central Methodist University, with specific emphasis on study strategies in their field of study;
• be familiar with academic and social opportunities on campus related to their fields of study;
• reflect on their program of study and career goals in light of assessments and activities.
• reflect on the importance of the CMU mission and creed;
• explore issues relating to study, leadership, and career opportunities in the student’s chosen major and minor;
• explore a four-year degree plan and fully understand the requirements of both the major and the minor.
