Design is:

- An arrangement of lines and shapes created to form a pattern, drawing, or decoration.

- The way we put order to our lives, our surroundings, our world.

- The way we make things functional, efficient, orderly, stylish, beautiful.

- It can be found in at work, nature, architecture, business and commerce, advertising and packaging, computer images, automotive and mechanics, fashion, textiles, jewelry, hair styles, makeup, sports equipment, furniture, etc.

- Design is universal/multicultural; every culture, all of mankind, has been planning and designing for eons. Every culture throughout time has been creating designs: from cave paintings, runes, to the present; Stonehenge, Egyptian, Incan and Aztec, Islamic, Byzantine, Greco/Roman, Asian, African, Australian, European.

-What is your own personal taste and style?
