SOTA Member Biographies

Taylor Kluck:

My name is Taylor Kluck and I am a current student in CMU's first OTA cohort. I am also the current president for SOTA. This is my second year at CMU and I have loved every minute of it! I'm from Boonville, MO, which is only about 30 minutes from Fayette. I'm very interested in working with pediatrics in a school or clinic setting. I have always loved working with kids since I first started volunteering at a Bible School group in my hometown. I'm excited to continue furthering my education and work more with the pediatric population!

Austin Horn:

Hello, my name is Austin Horn and I am the secretary in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program here at CMU. I grew up in Harrisburg, MO, which is about 20 minutes from Fayette. I am a pretty easy going and laid back person. I love sports, especially football and basketball, and I used to play football here until I was plagued by injury. I love being challenged in the field of occupational therapy and I have already learned so much in the year that I have been here. I have always had a passion to help people and I think occupational therapy fits that description for me.

Emily Wade:

My name is Emily Wade, I am the Central Methodist university SOTA treasurer. I grew up in Dixon Missouri, but I now reside in Fayette. After I graduate OTA school, I would like to get my bachelors degree and possibly go to OT school. I would like to work in the nursing home setting.
