• Scientific Calculator – required

ATTENDANCE

• Class attendance is mandatory. 
  • Each unexcused absence will result in a loss of 2% of your exam scores.
  • If you accumulate six (4) unexcused absences, I may ask that you be dropped from the course. 
  • ALL absences that are not discussed with me are unexcused. 
  • Email me within 24 hours of ANY absence indicating the class you are in, the date you were absent, and the reason for the absence. 
• While school-related extracurricular activities are excused absences, you are not excused from any of the class assignments, materials, quizzes, or exams.
• If an exam is missed for an excused absence, you must schedule a time to take the exam BEFORE the next class period or at another time of my choosing.  Failure to do so may result in a zero.

ATTENDANCE & QUARANTINE

• If you in quarantine and you are able, you are expected to log into the Zoom meeting for the class.  When you log into the Zoom meeting, your camera MUST be on and I MUST be able to see your face for the length of the class.  If you need to use another device (e.g. phone or computer) so that you can use your iPad to take notes, you will need to do so.  If your camera is not on and/or you are not visible, you will be counted absent (unexcused) for the day.
• If you are too ill to attend class via the Zoom meeting, I will expect you to inform me of your situation as soon as you are able.  You will be able to review the video of the missed lecture(s). If you are well enough to Zoom the class, you are well enough to have your camera on.  If there are extenuating circumstances, contact me about participating with your camera off.

HOMEWORK INFORMATION
