CLASS ZOOM MEETING AND LAB VIDEOS LINK
LAB REPORT SUBMISSION
- Notability File Title: In the following order
- EXPERIMENT # and NAME from the Lab Manual
- Your NAME
- Your LAB SECTION
- DATE on which you did the experiment
- Lab reports are to be completed in Notability and uploaded as a PDF file into the lab assignment in MyCMU. (NO other file formats will be accepted.)
- Lab reports are to be submitted before the start of the following week’s lab.
- Each report should contain ONLY the pages for the specific experiment being submitted.
- Late lab reports will receive significant deduction in points. No points will be given for reports more than one week past due.
ATTENDANCE & QUARANTINE
- Lab attendance is mandatory unless you are on a school-sanctioned trip, quarantined, or otherwise ill. If you are absent from the lab, you must contact me via a private discussion post (to the CLASS NOT THE LAB) to give the reason for your absence.
- If you in quarantine and you are able, you are expected to log into the Zoom meeting for the lab. When you log into the Zoom meeting, your camera MUST be on and I MUST be able to see your face for the length of the lab.. If you need to use another device (e.g. phone or computer) so that you can use your iPad to take notes, you will need to do so. If your camera is not on and/or you are not visible, you will be counted absent (unexcused) for the day, and you will not be allowed to make up the lab.
- If you are too ill to attend lab via the Zoom meeting, I will expect you to inform me of your situation as soon as you are able. You will be able to review the video of the missed lab(s). If you are well enough to Zoom the lab, you are well enough to have your camera on. If there are extenuating circumstances, contact me about participating with your camera off.
- If you are NOT on the quarantine list and you do not discuss with me the reason you are absent from a lab, you will receive NO points for the lab. Watching the video of the lab and submitting a lab report will NOT be allowed.
- If you have more than 2 unexcused absences for any reason, you will not pass the lab. The University’s attendance policy: www.centralmethodist.edu/academics/catalog/clas-catalog/policies/general-academic-regulations.php
- No lab report will be accepted after Noon on the last Friday of the semester.
CLASS COMMUNICATION
- All written class communication should be done using a private discussion post in MyCMU TO THE CLASS NOT THE LAB.
- Do not use email.
