This course has an assignment that is due by 11:55 pm Central Standard Time on Wednesday night of the first week of class.  Failure to complete this assignment will result in your removal from the course for non-participation.

There are no required textbooks for this course. All readings will be provided by the instructor.

Special Requirements

  • Student must find a setting, approved by the instructor, to conduct practicum hours. This course requires a minimum of 10 hours of on-site work per week but no more than 30 hours, a minimum of 1 hour of group and a minimum of 1 hour of individual supervision per week. By the end of the course, you will need 240 hours = 12 hours of individual meetings + 12 hours of group supervision + 216 of on-site work hours (average of 18-19 for 12 weeks).
  • Attendance at group meetings is mandatory.

Course Description

6 hours.  While in an applied setting, students will take principals learned in the BCaBA course sequence and apply them. Student will be supervised on site as well as remotely by the course BCBA. Students will be expected to record themselves working directly with clients, as well as attend weekly group meetings and individual meetings when necessary. An intensive practicum is meant to provide fluency of the task list. Students are expected to demonstrate skill and knowledge in behavior analytic, ethical and professional domains. Skills taught in BH423, BH426 will be reinforced and expanded upon in this course.
