I strongly encourage you to buy or share with someone in the class. You will have access to electronic copies of the class materials for professional rescuer book only, as well as your  certification card; all of this totals: $27.00 for the class. In the first half of the semester you will be ask to pay the professor(me-Jill Pratte) this $27.00 fee. Everyone is charged the same amount and this goes directly to the American Red Cross. If you pay by check, it will be made out to Central Methodist University. That is the amount the American Red Cross charges me to offer you electronic materials and the certification card. Just to give you an idea the hard copy texts cost about $37.00 for the class I believe. I will be giving power point presentations and handouts as well. You are more than welcome to have hard copies of the books if you so choose but you will have the class fee anyway.
