MU471 Composition I

Due 10/9:

PC Set melody:  Compose a theme based on the tetrachord of your choosing.  Use transpositions and inversions of the set.  You may either have the fourth note as the end of one statement and the beginning of another or may have the sets be more discrete.  Type into notation software also mark the PCs – bracket the tetrachords.  Submit a pdf by AirDropping in class.

Must have minimum of four 4-bar phrases.  Must follow periodic design (you can choose the format).  Cadences don’t have to follow the traditional pattern but should have resting points.
