Course Description

MA529 Mathematical Statistics. 4 credit hours. Topics in statistics, including combinatorial methods, probability, sampling distributions, and hypothesis testing are presented and proven with the detailed application of advanced calculus. (Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MA504 and MA509, or Instructor's Permission).

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant should be able to collect, organize, analyze and interpret data using the appropriate methods that are included in the course. Also, each participant should be able to effectively communicate the results of the statistical analysis performed.
