Upon completion of this course, each student will be able to:

• Identify the liberal arts that comprise the trivium.

• Identify the liberal arts that comprise the quadrivium.

• Provide examples of both support and resistance toward liberal arts emphasis from educational experts.

• Determine how society has impacted our emphasis of liberal arts in schools.
