Course Description

CMU104 Study Strategies for Successful College Students. (2 hours.) This course will help students develop the skills and strategies to be successful students who understand that they are responsible for their own college learning experience.

 

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant should be able to:

  • understand the differences between high-school level and university level academic work and further develop the study skills necessary to make this transition
  • Apply concepts covered in this course to their own academic careers
  • Assess and articulate their own learning strategies, strengths, and areas of improvement
