Hello class my name is Nick! Currently I am half way through my third year of my bachelors degree. I received my associates degree from Jefferson Community College in 2020. I have always found an interest in accounting although it is not my major. I am currently majoring in Computer Science but I like to choose classes outside of my field of study for my electives to help diversify my knowledge. My ultimate carer goal would be too either to write programs that have an emphasis in accounting for businesses or consumers. I would also think that becoming a network administrator would be fun. I plan on completing my degree at Central Methodist and then going to work in the computer science field. Currently I work full-time at Home Depot as a front end supervisor I enjoy managing people and ensuring that cash management is a priority. The reason I became so interested in the Fraud Examination part of accounting is because my role as a front end supervisor is to figure out where variances in tills occur. I love to investigate shortages and overages along with investigations fraudulent returns and markdowns. I have been in my front end supervisor position for about four years and I love the challenges that each day can bring. Throughout these four years I have been transferred to other stores to train and retrain other front end supervisors.  In my free time I coach a high school bowling team. I really enjoy bowling, shooting, gaming, and programming in my extra time.
