BI 105: Intro to Environmental Science

Objectives: To explore the principles, organization and evolution of natural systems through the study of Environmental Science.

Outcomes:  As a student in this course, you will learn to:

  • Evaluate, analyze, and summarize evidence concerning environmental issues using scientific methods.
  • Seek solutions based on accumulated knowledge and current research to problems affecting human health and your environment as an informed citizen making ethical decisions.
  • Discover and understand the diversity of environmental conditions experienced by people across the globe.
  • Communicate your views on environmental issues clearly and effectively and understand and respect other’s viewpoints, positions and beliefs.
