Hello Class,

I currently work as a teller at a local bank, which is a good job, but not something I want to continue forever. I do not think that the banking field is quite for me. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Accounting, but quite frankly I have not decided what exactly I plan on doing with it or what direction I want to take it. I am kinda just figuring it out as a go and I am not sure what I want to do either. There are so many options and opportunities that if I am being honest I am just kind of hopeful that by the end of by getting my degree something will have jumped out at me. Hi Raegan. Good luck to you this term as well. My minor is in accounting. I am leaning more towards management. It is a hard decision to make; what we want to be after graduation. Like you said there are many options and opportunities to choose from. I think this class will be interesting and informative.

Hi Raegan, 

I also work at a bank and I really enjoy it, I’m not sure if I want to do it forever though either. I took some Accounting classes to get my Associates Degree and their are so many fields of Accounting you could go into. You will definitely figure it out closer to getting your degree by taking more Accounting classes. At least you are not limited to where you want to work. Every place has something to do with money! I wish you luck figuring out your career choice!
